Book Review: In the Cover of Darkness by K. Wish
OMG THIS BOOK!! I loved it!! I am a huge fan of romantic suspense, and this book is the definition of the genre. I couldn't put it down!
The main characters, the side characters, the plot, the suspense, the setting, the writing style... everything was perfect! It simultaneously got my heart pounding and made me feel all cosy, warm and gooey inside. And the humour in it, too, had me laughing out loud at times!
Dante Carter is officially one of my top book boyfriends! His devotion and love for Mila were swoonworthy! He was so nurturing, patient, honest and protective! Ugh! I love it when a big, strong, dangerous grump of a man is only soft for his girl! He was just the biggest sweetheart!🥹🔥
Mila was also an amazing and loveable FMC who overcame so much; her character growth in this story was beautiful and made me love her even more!
This was both a sweet, beautiful love story and a thrilling, suspenseful read - I can't recommend it enough! It was an easy 5 stars!✨️
I am incredibly excited to read books 2 and 3! I NEED Ace and Nova's story!
